What was the highlight of The Nayland Hotel
Pleasant staff, adequate features, very good location.
The staff members were very nice. We were provided a needed electric cord. The beds were comfy. There was a convenient breakfast room in the basement. The location was very near tube and rail lines, and the Heathrow Express to the airport.
Our room was on the top floor, and was so small that it was just possible to get to one of the beds (which had to be pushed together to fit in the room) without crawling over the other one.

Good
Location was very good in a safe and secure area. Staff were pleasant and welcoming.
Shower is extremely small. The next morning construction work started just outside my room which was disturbing. I suppose that's why I managed to get the room for a huge discount.

Easy tube/train access, but noisy
The beds were good. The shower pressure was good and water hot. It was clean.
It was obvious that a shoebox room had furniture squeezed in to make it usable. So it felt very cramped. There needs to be double glazing or some other for sound minimizer from the street. The sound from other rooms, especially drawers being opened and closed, travels very easily. If you’re a light sleeper, you will be woken many times.
